AVERT would like to inform you about a new hybrid of Melissa called
W97M/Prilissa.
The virus has been reported to multiple AVERT labs and has become very
prevalent in just a few days. Current versions of VirusScan, and AVTK will
detect the virus as a variant of Melissa. With the latest update, available
at the address below, the products will detect it as W97M/Prelissa, which is
now the name AVERT has given the virus as its research revealed the virus
has traits of the W97M/Pri virus as well.
